Eby Construction recognizes the value that providing service opportunities to employees brings to our company, the team members themselves and our community. As such, we are all encouraged to participate in the employee Voluntary Time Off (VTO) provision, which enables each team member to spend paid work time each year volunteering for an approved nonprofit organization or cause.
- United Way
Eby Construction has partnered with the United Way for decades by facilitating employee campaigns and occasionally providing loaned executives to help accomplish their mission. Every year, we treat our employees to a free lunch and a presentation about the mission of the United Way. During that time, employees are encouraged to give via payroll deduction. In addition to employee contributions, we make an annual corporate contribution. Over the years, Eby Construction and its employees have given hundreds of thousands of dollars to help those less fortunate in our community.

Eby Construction has been a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters for many years. The organization makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”) in communities across the country. We’re proud to say our employees have raised more than $60,000 to benefit the organization.
