“When I’m not in Wichita, either doing chores around the house, out golfing or sneaking in a little pickleball with friends, I like to travel in Colorado and the Desert Southwest for outdoor fun. One of my favorite past times is exploring the public lands in Arizona by making day trips either by dual-sport motorcycle or off-road UTV.”
Fun Fact:“People would be surprised to know that I used to be pretty good playing the trumpet and banjo.”
Community:“I am a Foundation Board member of the Sedgwick County Zoo and a member of the Wichita State University (WSU) Wichita Area Outlook team.”
Childhood:“Growing up, we spent weekends and summers on the ECCO (Eby Construction Co. ) Ranch. Martin Eby Sr. gave all of his grandsons the opportunity to work on the ranch beginning at age 13, and I think this helped each of us develop a strong work ethic which has carried over to my career at Eby. I couldn’t wait until I turned 18 and was able to go to work with the company ”
