Q: When can I enter the 2023 Awards?
A: The Awards are open for entry between 1st May and 8th September 2023 .
Q: Do I have to pay to enter the Awards?
A: No, the Awards are free to enter.
Q: How many categories can I enter?
A: You can enter up to four categories. Suppliers can enter two, but only with two different products.
Q: Will I be told in advance if I have won an award?
A: No, this is revealed during the Awards ceremony, but the Shortlist will be announced in September.
Q: What time does The Negotiator Awards start?
A: The drinks reception starts at 6.45pm and you will need to start moving through to your table in the Great Room for The Negotiator Awards Event from 7.30pm for dinner at 8pm. The actual Awards ceremony, with celebrity host, begins at around 9.30pm. It finishes around 11pm and there is a bar, live entertainment and dancing until 1.30am.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: The Negotiator Awards is a ‘Black Tie’ occasion. This is a strict requirement. Unsuitably attired guests may be refused entry. Gentlemen should wear Dinner Suits and Ladies should wear cocktail or long evening wear, gowns or suits. Glamour is the key, so it’s a great opportunity to look fabulous – so go for it!
Q: Can I bring a colleague/partner/friend with me?
A: You may of course – provided that you have bought a ticket for them. You cannot buy tickets on the night. Bring the whole team in fact – it is the ideal staff Christmas party!
Q: Are children allowed to come?
A: Unfortunately not. Children are not allowed to attend the event, because of licensing restrictions.
Q: How do I know where I am sitting?
A: There will be a table plan at the entrance to the Great Room where The Negotiator Awards takes place. A host will show you where it is. Your name and table number will be on there.
Q: I have special dietary requirements. Can I have a special meal?
A: You need to discuss this with our events team before the event, so please call 0844 745 3104. You cannot order this on the night. You can do this via the Awards website by logging into your account. You will see dietary requirements in the booking section under each Guest personal details. Q: Are there any extra costs for the evening?
A: Your ticket includes the Reception drinks, your table place and the three-course Awards dinner.
Q. How do I order drinks for the table in advance?
All drinks during and after the dinner are not included in your ticket. Your dinner drinks can be ordered in advance by calling our events team on 0844 745 3104 or emailing [email protected].
You will be sent a drinks menu/price list and a booking form for you to send to Grosvenor House. Your drinks will be on your table when you sit down for dinner. You can order more drinks during the event, from the wine waiters and it will be charged to your credit card.
The Negotiator Conference & Expo
Q: Can I attend both the Conference and the Awards?
A: Yes you can and a Joint ticket costs just £50+VAT on top of the Awards ticket price of £295+VAT. Full price for a Conference ticket alone, is £150+VAT. There is two hours between the Conference finishing and the Awards beginning, which gives you time to change for the evening. Q: Do I need to buy a ticket in advance?
A: Yes you do – you cannot turn up without a ticket and booking closes one week before the events. You can buy tickets by clicking on the Booking tab in the menu bar.
Q: I only want to come to the Expo. Do I still need to buy a ticket?
A: Yes you do, the Expo is part of the Conference and everything is in the one venue.
Q: What is the dress code for the Conference?
A: This is a professional business event; the dress code is smart business/lounge suit.
Q: What is the address and how do I get there?
A: The address is The Grosvenor House Hotel, 86-90, Park Lane, London W1K 7TN. Enter by the Great Room entrance on Park Lane. You can get there by London Underground, nearest stations are Marble Arch on the Central Line, Hyde Park Corner, on the Piccadilly Line. Nearest mainline station is London Victoria and is a ten-minute cab ride.
Parking is available in public car parks in Park Lane.
Q: What time does the Conference start?
A: Registration opens at 8.30am and you can view the Expo from then. Tea, coffee and breakfast is served from 8:30am. The Conference sessions start at 9:30am.
Q: Are there breaks between presentations?
A: Yes there are; two coffee breaks and a lunch break. It will be detailed in the programme which will be given to you on arrival.
Q: Is food and drink included in the ticket price?
A: Yes, there is coffee, tea and refreshments throughout the day and food at every break. On arrival there is a breakfast; during the morning break in the speaker programme more gourmet snacks/canapes will be served; there is a hot buffet lunch and desserts served with soft drinks and wine; afternoon tea includes finger sandwiches and cakes. Everything is included in your ticket price. Vegetarian options are provided.
Q: What time does the Conference close?
A: The last presentation will finish at approximately 5.00pm.
